Special Regulations
The Mario Correa Rengifo Departmental Hospital (E.S.E.), pursuant to the provisions of Law 100 of 1993 and Decree 1808 of 1995, by which it was transformed into a State Social Enterprise, is a decentralized public entity at the departmental level, endowed with legal personality, its own assets, and administrative autonomy, and subject to the legal regime applicable to State Social Enterprises.
Consequently, its regulatory framework is comprehensively defined by the Constitution, Law 100 of 1993, the specific regulations governing State-Owned Social Enterprises, and other relevant laws and regulations that govern the provision of essential public health services.
Based on this understanding, the entity does not issue any additional special regulations other than the general regulations governing its legal status, structure, and operations; therefore, no specific report is required under the “special regulations” item.
