At the Mario Correa Rengifo E.S.E. Departmental Hospital, we reaffirmed our commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship through an institutional reforestation event, held as part of COP16 and our Green Hospital strategy.
During the event, we planted more than 300 trees in various areas of the hospital, thanks to a donation from the Administrative Department of Environmental Management (DAGMA). In addition, we were joined by environmental managers from the Valle del Cauca Governor’s Office, who led an outreach and awareness-raising session on the importance of environmental conservation and the actions we can take to mitigate the ecological impact of our operations.
“At Mario Correa Rengifo Hospital, we continue to make progress in meeting the Green Hospitals impact criteria, promoting sustainable practices that benefit both our community and the environment. Planting these plants not only beautifies our spaces but also helps improve air quality and biodiversity in our hospital environment,” said our manager, Juan Carlos Corrales.
